Moncler Grenoble has launched a winter capsule collection with a double Chinese connection. On the one hand, the Franco-Italian brand has hired a Chinese actress and singer, Victoria Song, for the marketing campaign. On the other, it has struck a deal with a Chinese toy brand, Pop Mart, to create various versions of a doll – the Mega Collection 1000% Space Molly x Moncler doll – for display alongside the capsule in the windows of Moncler’s stores in China. The capsule itself comprises a Mazod jacket in white and black technical nylon, a teddy-bear fleece with a plush hood, lined nylon laqué trackpants with athletic details, long-sleeved tops and T-shirts, a pullover with a thermo-fiber fleece-lined hood, beanies, pompom hats and a trapper hat. The collection is being sold on Moncler.com, on Mytheresa.com and at certain Moncler stores in China.
