The captain of the Real Madrid football club and the Spanish national football team, Sergio Ramos, has decided not to extend his 10-year deal with Nike. He has now posted a photo on Instagram of him wearing Adidas boots, leading to press speculations that he has signed up with the Three Stripes instead. As reported a few weeks ago by AS, the Madrid-based sports newspaper, the 34-year-old football star felt that the last renewal offer by Nike was too low, paving the way for offers from other brands. An official confirmation about his new kit sponsor is yet to come. Ramos might also be leaving Real Madrid at the end of the contract with the club on June 30, 2021. Ramos joined Real Madrid from Sevilla in 2005.
