The launch marks a materials-first entry into the versatile activewear segment – a category where the gap between performance and professional dress has remained stubbornly wide.
Graphene-X, the Hong Kong-based advanced materials apparel brand, has released its first dedicated women’s collection in partnership with Kyorene, a materials innovation company specializing in graphene-embedded fibers. The three-piece capsule is priced between $69 (€63) and $119 (€109) and is available now via graphene-x.com; the geographic scope of shipping has not been confirmed in the product announcement.
A gap the athleisure category has not yet closed
The launch positions itself against a specific consumer problem: the need for women to change clothing as they move between fitness, professional and social settings. The broader athleisure market has expanded consistently over the past decade, but the brand argues that most solutions prioritize either performance or aesthetics – not both. Graphene-X’s answer is materials science rather than styling compromise.
Unlike surface treatments or compression-based approaches, the collection integrates graphene directly into the yarn structure, which the brand says delivers more durable thermoregulation, odor resistance and structural retention over repeated use. Two proprietary fabric systems underpin the line: GRAPHDRY, focused on moisture management and fast drying, and GRAPHMOTION, which the brand positions around shape retention and ease of movement.

From $69 tank to $119 jumpsuit: what the capsule contains
The three pieces are each available in black and navy, in sizes XS to XL:
- Nourish Tank Shirt ($69/€63): A lightweight base layer with built-in support, designed for odor resistance and fast drying
- Thermagraph Pants ($99/€91): High-waisted, with shape retention and a removable belt to shift the silhouette between casual and polished
- Everywhere Jumpsuit ($119/€109): A single-piece option combining stretch performance with a structured silhouette; the removable belt allows further styling flexibility
Pricing sits above the mass-market activewear tier but below the high-end of the technical apparel segment. The two-colorway, size-inclusive approach is consistent with Graphene-X’s stated philosophy of longevity over seasonal product cycles.
Kyorene’s move toward consumer visibility
The Kyorene collaboration is an example of a B2B materials supplier gaining direct consumer exposure through a brand partnership – a model that has become more common as textile innovators seek to differentiate in a crowded market. Lynn Sha Deligny of Kyorene, who drove the collection’s development, described its origins in a virtual yoga program she ran during the pandemic, where the logistical friction of changing clothes was enough to discourage women from building movement into the workday. Jorge Barros, Founder and CEO of Graphene-X, said the collection extends the brand’s existing materials work into a segment that has historically been underserved: “Women’s routines don’t pause between roles, and neither should their clothing.”
About Graphene-X
Founded in 2019 and registered in Hong Kong, Graphene-X is a performance apparel brand built around advanced materials science. Originally launched on Kickstarter, it operates primarily DTC (direct-to-consumer) via graphene-x.com and offers a lifetime guarantee across its range. The brand uses graphene and, in other product lines, NASA-grade aerogel as core material technologies.
About Kyorene
Kyorene is a materials innovation company that embeds graphene directly into textile yarns to produce fabrics with thermoregulation, antibacterial and durability properties. The Graphene-X collaboration marks one of its first consumer-facing brand partnerships.
