Tristate Holdings, a licensee of the Authentic Brands Group (ABG) for its Nautica and Spyder brands, has been selected as the licensee for Reebok in China, Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan after its takeover from the Adidas Group. It will manage all wholesale and retail operations for Reebok in the region, coordinating with the Reebok Design Group in Boston for product design and sourcing. Founded in 1937 and based in Hong Kong, Tristate is also a major garment manufacturer. The group made a loss on sales of 2,277 million Hong Kong dollars (€258m-$292m) in 2020 because of the coronavirus pandemic. By the end of that year, it managed or franchised 125 Nautica stores and 54 Spyder stores. To develop its brand management business, Tristate bought a major Italian sportswear brand, CP Company, in 2015.
