The 2026 edition of RiminiWellness, the annual international event for the wellness industry, organized by IEG – Italian Exhibition Group, will feature an expanded Innovation Area hosting 30 startups, to reassert the event’s role as a strategic hub for innovation and research in the wellness sector. The Innovation Area will showcase cutting-edge systems and biotechnologies focused on performance and safety. The 20th edition of RiminiWellness will take place at Expo Centre & Riviera in Rimini, Italy, on May 28-31, 2026.
Longevity, which is emerging as a major economic asset, with a global value of €500 billion, will be the central theme of the “Longevity and Lifestyle: Science, Business and Investment” panel discussion. The Fitness Innovation Arena will feature on May 28 an EPSI (European Platform for Sport Innovation) workshop titled “Active Ecosystems: Aligning Investment and Innovation”, organized and moderated by EPSI Executive Director Alberto Bichi. A dynamic session on May 30, dubbed “Reverse Pitching,” will let investors, advisors and accelerator programs explain to startups what they seek in innovative wellbeing and digital health projects. On May 31, the focus will be on the Ilenia Scarantino Award, promoted by Gruppo Sicilia in collaboration with the Universities of Palermo and Catania. Sport science students will present research on how Sicilian phytonutrients impact on elite sporting performance.
