Adidas is boosting its infrastructure in Paris and regrouping its local teams under Guillaume de Monplanet, general manager of Adidas France, by opening of a new office near the trendy Pigalle area. Adidas and Reebok employees, who were previously working at different offices inside and outside the French capital, will not have any assigned desks and are instead working in zones. The new office takes the place of a former bank, covering more than 3,000 square meters on six floors. Apart from large showrooms, the new Paris office includes facilities such as a private courtyard, a gym, a concierge office and a Zen room. The move in Paris is to be accompanied by another move in the Alsace region, where Adidas France was first established. The group is about to leave its offices in the small village of Landersheim, adjacent to the famous Auberge du Kochersberg, and move into more central offices in Strasbourg. Separately, Adidas has opened its first Adidas Football store in Paris, covering about 280 square meters and two floors near the Forum des Halles. Selling the brand's football footwear ranges along with apparel for men and women, the store includes a testing zone as well as a print shop for personalized football shirts. The group has already announced the opening of a Reebok store in the Madeleine area and Fashion Network reports that Adidas will expand its flagship store on the Champs-Elysées, to cover about 3,700 square meters in 2018. Paris is one of the cities picked by Adidas as part its “Creating the New” five-year strategy through 2020.
