Erreà’s step up from club deals to a leaguewide UAE Pro League partnership shows Gulf leagues centralizing commercial rights at competition level. Present in more than 80 countries, Erreà extends its Gulf footprint through 2028/29 and tests whether league deals can outscale club ones.
Parma-based teamwear brand Erreà has been appointed official technical partner and official match ball supplier of the UAE Pro League until the end of the 2028/29 season. Erreà has already been involved in Emirati football with individual clubs as a technical partner. Through this agreement, the Italian firm now takes a step forward by becoming an official partner of the entire competition. The UAE Pro League, also known as the ADNOC Pro League for sponsorship reasons, is the top-tier football league in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and features 14 participating clubs.
At the heart of the deal is a single official match ball range, developed in three customized graphic versions for the UAE Pro League’s three competitions: the League Championship, the Cup and the Super Cup.
Erreà was founded in 1988 in San Polo di Torrile, near Parma, Italy, by Angelo Gandolfi. The company is now present in more than 80 countries and boasts over 500 sponsorships across football, volleyball and other sports disciplines.
“We are proud of this achievement, and it represents a further step in the expansion journey we are pursuing across the Gulf region and around the world,” said Roberto Gandolfi, Vice President of Erreà Sport and Angelo’s son.
