Puma and a popular German brewery have collaborated on a sneaker, which is sold exclusively at Sport 2000.
Do beer, the Black Forest and sneakers belong together? Puma, along with collaboration partners Sport 2000 and Badische Staatsbrauerei Rothaus, thinks so. The result is the limited-edition Puma x Rothaus Indoor “Tannenzäpfle”—a sneaker that merges Black Forest brewing tradition with international sneaker design, Puma said.

“With this exclusive collaboration, we are showing how regional brand icons can be creatively translated into sneaker design — offering our Sneaker Force partners a unique, appealing product,” said Marc Scheiner. Puma and Rothaus have transferred the distinctive look and history of the cult beer to the classic Puma Indoor silhouette.
The Indoor is currently experiencing a comeback as a minimalist lifestyle piece with an archival character. The design features brown mesh with a pine cone look, high-quality suede overlays in bottle glass brown, a green formstrip as a nod to the Black Forest trees, and a tongue in the style of the iconic label with pine cones and “Biergit.” Shiny gold lace tips with pinecone embossing and a peel-off gold heel foil, like the original beer label, complete the model.
The sneaker was released on Aug. 30, 2025, and is available exclusively in Germany and Switzerland at 17 different Sport 2000 Sneaker Force partner stores.
