Castore, the sportswear brand backed by tennis star Andy Murray, has been named the second fastest-growing private company in Britain, according to The Sunday Times Hundred 2023 rankings. Recruitment firm Join Talent tops the list. Castore experienced annual sales growth over three years of 285.8 percent, according to the figures compiled by the Sunday Times. The sportswear brand posted sales of £115 million (€134.3m) in the 12 months ending Jan. 31, 2023, and expects sales to hit £200 million (€233.4m) this year. Castore, headquartered in Manchester, was founded by brothers Tom and Phil Beahon in 2016. The company has cited the development of close partnerships with sports teams and athletes and store expansion as key drivers in its growth.
