Save the Duck could reach annual revenues of €200 in five years, mainly through retail expansion, said Nicolas Bargi, CEO and founder of the brand, speaking at the 29th Pambianco Fashion Summit in Milan. Save The Duck currently operates 18 mono-brand stores, and intends to add around 30 in three to four years.

Save the Duck, best known for its animal down-free puffers, posted revenues of €63 million in 2023, and expects to reach €72 million this year. The wholesale channel currently accounts for 50 percent of its sales. By product, the brand generates 75 percent of its revenues from the winter collections but is working to expand its summer range, said Bargi.

By geography, Save the Duck generates three-quarters of its revenues outside Italy, of which 20 percent in the US, 18 percent in the DACH area and 5 percent in Japan. While the US and Japan are driving growth, Germany’s slowdown in 2023 caused a 15 percent drop in DACH revenues, added Bargi.
