Sustainability data leader Worldly has announced the acquisition of GoBlu, creator of the BHive® platform for chemical inventory management. The move aims to create the first integrated system linking verified environmental performance data with chemical compliance for the apparel and sporting goods industries.

Sustainability intelligence platform Worldly has acquired GoBlu, the company behind The BHive, a widely used digital solution for chemical inventory management, traceability, and compliance in apparel and textile supply chains. The acquisition, announced on Oct. 9, marks a major step toward building the first unified system that connects verified environmental performance data with chemical compliance – helping brands gain a comprehensive view of their environmental footprint across global supply chains.

Worldly and TheBHive align data, also from ZDHC and OEKO-TEX

The integration of GoBlu’s expertise into Worldly’s system will enable apparel, footwear, and sporting goods companies to track and manage both emissions and chemical safety through a single platform, aligning data with industry frameworks such as ZDHC and OEKO-TEX.

According to Worldly, the new combined platform will help brands:

  • Deliver a unified view of compliance and environmental impact across facilities and regions.
  • Simplify supplier reporting and data collection, easing administrative burdens.
  • Leverage AI-driven analytics to focus on measurable improvements instead of data reconciliation.

The announcement comes amid growing pressure on brands to accelerate sustainability progress. A recent study analyzing thousands of outdoor and sportswear supply chain facilities found that 75 percent have plans to reduce emissions, but only 66 percent have taken concrete action. Worldly said the acquisition will help close this gap by offering the tools needed to translate plans into measurable results.
