VF suspends commercial activities in Russia and supports refugees

VF Corp. has joined those companies temporarily suspending commercial operations in Russia. Accordingly, VF has closed Vans-operated retail stores across the country and suspended processing e-commerce orders through the Vans and The North Face brand websites, the company said. The VF Foundation has donated $250,000 to UNHCR, the United Nations refugee agency. In addition, VF offers its employees the opportunity to personally support the refugee crisis by establishing a 1:1 matching program in which the VF Foundation matches employee donations up to $100,000. VF manages this employee giving program through GlobalGiving’s Ukraine Crisis Fund.
