Rupert Campbell, President of Adidas North America, is stepping down from his position. Campbell became head of Adidas North America in January 2022, succeeding Zion Armstrong, who returned to his home of New Zealand at the time. Campbell previously led Adidas’ operations in Russia after working at Adidas in Europe. His voluntary departure comes at a time when the brand is trying to regain its footing in North America after the Yeezy issues led to a significant drop in Adidas sales. In fact, North America was the worst-performing region for the group, with sales down 16 percent in Q2 and 18 percent in H1. Adidas has not yet announced a successor for Campbell.
