Hermione People & Brands (HPB), the parent company of French sporting goods retailer Go Sport, announced in a letter dated March 8 the dismissal of Go Sport CEO Patrick Puy. As we reported earlier this year, Puy was appointed head of the retailer on Jan. 4 with the objective of “pursuing the necessary transformation” of the brand. Go Sport was placed in receivership in January. The announcement of his dismissal comes on the eve of the deadline for submitting offers to take over the retailer, as candidates will have until March 10 at midnight to do so.
