Intersport France names new managing director

Intersport France has reportedly appointed Sylvain Darracq as its new managing director, Sport-Guide.com has revealed. He is to replace Corinne Gensollen, who has held the role since 2016. Gensollen will remain as an advisor to Jacky Rihouet, the chairman of Intersport France, for international matters, CSR and brand platform. Darracq has spent the past ten years at Intersport France with evolving roles, most recently as deputy managing director. He previously worked for seven years at La Halle as regional director and sales director. Early in his career, he also served as store manager at Decathlon.
