Lululemon has named Elizabeth Binder its first chief merchandising officer. Most recently, Binder was chief product officer at Boden, a U.K.-based apparel company, which she joined in October 2020. Prior to that, she spent 12 years at Burberry and also held merchandising positions at J. Crew, Club Monaco and Ann Taylor. Binder started her new job on Jan. 16 and works out of Vancouver, reporting to chief product officer Sun Choe. The new hire is the latest investment by Lululemon to bolster its expanding product team. Last April, the brand had already expanded its product team by hiring an SVP of footwear and a global creative director, who also report to Choe.
