Fanatics is partnering with the International Olympic Committee (IOC) to launch its first global Olympic web store, starting with the Paris Summer Olympics in 2024, followed by the 2026 Winter Olympics in Milan and Cortina, and the Summer Games in Los Angeles in 2028. Fanatics will work with the organizing committees of the three events to allow more fans all over the world to purchase official Olympic merchandise ahead of the events. The collections will be developed through Fanatics’ on-demand manufacturing model and its connected supply chain. Products for Paris 2024 are on sale already. The new platform will also offer an Olympic Heritage Collection of apparel, mascots and souvenirs frol previous Games. An Olympic Collection for younger consumers will consist of toys, games and other items typically featured at the Olympic Museum Shop in Lausanne. The collections will be available first in France, the U.K., Switzerland, the U.S. and Mexico. They will be rolled out internationally by next summer with the exception of China, where the existing Olympic store on Tmall will keep its territorial exclusivity.
