Canada Goose is planning to cut about 17 percent of its global corporate roles in a cost-cutting push. The layoffs are set to involve about 156 jobs at its corporate headquarters, according to Reuters. Between April 2021 and April 2023, the company nearly doubled the number of employees at its corporate office from 544 to 915 to support its “continued growth,” according to a securities filing. In a recent statement, CEO Dani Reiss said that the company is now realigning its teams to fuel its next phase of growth.

Canada Goose has also announced that Carrie Baker, President of Brand and Commercial, would expand her role to oversee design, while Daniel Binder, the brand’s Chief Transformation Officer, would take on the additional responsibility of overseeing global stores.
