Every spring, Brooks releases a “Run Proud” collection as part of its celebration of the LGBTQ+ community and Pride. The running brand has teamed up with queer artist and illustrator Lisa Congdon on a collaborative range this year. The apparel and accessory collection is now available in men’s and women’s sizing. Brooks is slated to launch also “Run Proud” custom shoe and packaging in partnership with Congdon this autumn. A member and advocate of the LGBTQ+ community, Congdon lives with her wife, Clay, in Portland, Oregon. In addition to her artwork, she has authored ten books and spends time mentoring creative entrepreneurship.
