American luxury fashion brand Michael Kors and Italian sportswear brand Ellesse are collaborating to celebrate the “sporty style of the 1970s.” The faces at the forefront of the collaboration are model Emily Ratajkowski and Brooklyn-based rap musician Jay Critch. The collection’s designs were staged by fashion photographer Lachlan Bailey and styled by Mel Ottenberg, editor-in-chief of Interview magazine. The 24-piece capsule collection features an emblem that combines the iconic Michael Kors logo with Ellesse’s tennis and ski-inspired symbol. Michael Kors x Ellesse launches on May 9 and offers a “luxurious and modern take on retro athleisure” and will be available at michaelkors.com and ellesse.com.
