The Louis Garneau Sports Group has been chosen by the Professional Triathletes Organisation (PTO) as the official Team Internationals outfitter for the 2021 Collins Cup, PTO’s flagship event and the inaugural edition of the event. The Louis Garneau Sports Group, founded in 1983, is headquartered in Saint-Augustin-de-Desmaures, Quebec. Its products, intended for cyclists, triathletes, as well as several disciplines of winter sports, are sold in more than 40 countries. The PTO, headquartered in London, is a not-for-profit entity and a representative body for professional triathletes of both genders who have come together to have a meaningful voice in the way the sport operates while contributing to its growth. The Collins Cup, a new race format modeled after the Ryder Cup, will see teams of European, U.S. and international athletes competing against one another in the sport of triathlon. Louis Garneau will design the official uniforms to be worn by Team Internationals at the Inaugural Collins Cup on Aug. 28 at the X-bionic Sphere, a sports and leisure resort in Šamorín, near Bratislava in Slovakia.
