New Balance has announced a new multi-year sponsorship deal, on and off the pitch, with Raheem Sterling who will become a new global face of the brand. The 26-year-old football star, who plays for Manchester City and the England national team, will wear special New Balance Furon V6+ boots on matchdays. The brand plans to release special and signature editions of football and lifestyle products as part of the collaboration. Sterling will also collaborate with New Balance across both performance and lifestyle products. In addition, New Balance will support Sterling’s philanthropic work for his community, in particular for disadvantaged children. Sterling’s debut campaign for the brand, titled “Done Just Talking”, tells parts of the player’s own story and reaffirms his and New Balance’s commitment to driving positive social change. New Balance Football sponsors a roster of players as well as football clubs including FC Porto, Athletic Club, LOSC Lille and the national football teams of Costa Rica and Panama.
