Umbro is the N° 3 sportswear sponsor in the second division of Spain’s second-tier La Liga football league for the 2020/21 season, notably equipping Rayo Vallecano, Mallorca and Logroñés. While lacking any clubs in the first division, Umbro is also sponsoring amateur and futsal clubs in the country. Worldwide, the British brand sponsors the Irish national team and 120 clubs, among them Werder Bremen, FC Schalke 04, the Burnley Football Club, Nuremberg FC and Alianza FC. Several of its kits this season will take inspiration from Rayo Vallecano’s jerseys, which commemorate the victims of the Covid-19 pandemic.
