Stöckli has doubled its warranty period from two to four years for all newly purchased skis, setting a new standard in the ski industry and reinforcing its commitment to quality and sustainability.
Stöckli, the Swiss premium ski manufacturer, announced on Dec. 1 that it will extend the warranty on all newly purchased skis from two to four years—a first in the ski industry. The move underscores the brand’s confidence in its craftsmanship and durability, while promoting sustainable product use.
“Every Stöckli ski is the result of passion, precision, and Swiss engineering,” said CEO Marc Gläser. “The four-year warranty is a strong statement of our commitment to quality and a clear promise to our customers.”
The decision follows years of consistently low warranty claims and advances in testing and material analysis. “Our development work is rooted in systematic testing and decades of experience,” added Mathieu Fauve, Head of R\&D. “Extending the warranty reflects measurable durability and proven quality.”
Customers purchasing skis through Stöckli stores, online, or authorized retailers worldwide can register easily within 90 days. The warranty covers performance and service cases globally.
Market disruption potential
Industry observers note that this bold step could disrupt the market, where two-year warranties are standard. Blick highlighted the move as “a risk, but the right one,” pointing to Stöckli’s strong reputation and its partnership with ski champion Marco Odermatt, who continues to dominate the World Cup circuit on Stöckli skis.
