New TurboTaper power geometry and tighter manufacturing tolerances define the Blade v10, Wilson’s deepest revision of the racket franchise in 20 years — and its most tour-backed.

Wilson Sporting Goods has unveiled the Blade v10, the most extensively revised version of the racket franchise since it was first introduced in 2006. The new model goes on sale immediately at $289–$299 and will be played on tour by four of the top 10 women in the world rankings, a lineup the Chicago-based brand is positioning as validation of the design changes.

World No. 1 Aryna Sabalenka leads the athlete roster alongside Amanda Anisimova (No. 6), Mirra Andreeva (No. 9) and Vicky Mboko (No. 10), with Jakub Menšík (No. 25) representing the men’s tour.

Two technologies alter power and frame feel

The engineering revision centers on two proprietary systems. TurboTaper modifies the frame’s beam geometry to increase power transfer, while StableFeel+ targets frame stability and responsiveness at contact. Wilson says both are layered onto existing Blade architecture – including the X-Loop frame construction, FortyFive° carbon layup and DirectConnect handle – rather than replacing them.

Manufacturing consistency is presented as an equally significant change. Wilson says each Blade v10 is produced to tighter weight and balance tolerances than any previous version of the racket, a specification aimed at players who require predictable performance across switching frames or under pressure.

A milestone launch as Amer Sports accelerates its premium play

The Blade v10 arrives at a commercially significant moment for Wilson’s parent. Amer Sports, which also owns Salomon, Arc’teryx and Peak Performance, listed on the New York Stock Exchange in February 2024 and has been pushing premium performance positioning across its brand portfolio since. The tour roster accompanying this launch is among the strongest Wilson has assembled for a racket revision. With four of the top 10 women using the same platform, the brand is in a position to accumulate meaningful on-court exposure during the remainder of the 2026 season – including at Wimbledon and the US Open.
