Snell Golf is making waves in the golfing world with the launch of three new balls. The lineup includes the Prime 2.0, Prime 3.0 and Prime 4.0, with each number indicating the number of layers in the ball. The company aims to simplify the fitting process by recommending a model based on the distance a player hits their 7-iron, recognizing that many golfers struggle to accurately gauge their driving distances.
Dean Snell, the founder of Snell Golf, explained the motivation behind the new lineup: “We wanted to make it easier for golfers to choose the right ball for their game. By focusing on simplicity and performance, we believe we can provide golfers with a better experience on the course.”
The Prime 2.0 is the standout offering, featuring a two-piece construction with a urethane cover – a rarity in the market. Snell believes this ball will appeal to a wide range of players, offering a soft feel and exceptional short-game performance.
Despite facing challenges with production delays and factory issues, Snell is confident in the new lineup’s quality and performance. With improvements in core chemistry and cover durability, along with tweaks to the paint system, Snell Golf hopes to make a significant impact in the golf ball market. “We’ve listened to our customers and made the necessary changes to deliver a superior product. We’re excited to see how golfers respond to the new lineup,” he said.
