The PGA Show drew more than 34,000 industry professionals to Orlando, Florida last month, marking its highest attendance in 16 years as the golf sector extends a post-pandemic expansion that has seen courses, equipment sales and participation rates climb steadily since 2020.
The 73rd edition of the annual trade event attracted attendees from 90 countries and all 50 US states. More than 1,195 brands occupied 1.1 million square feet across the venue—increases across every metric including exhibitor count, booth space and total footprint compared with 2025.
Attendance climbs for second consecutive year
This year’s turnout represents approximately 3 percent growth over 2025’s roughly 33,000 attendees, continuing momentum that began as pandemic-era interest in outdoor activities drove new players to golf courses.
The show hosted more than 8,200 PGA of America professionals, LPGA professionals and international PGA members, alongside 1,300 VIP buyers from 910 facilities and retailers. Organizers estimate those buyers represent €900 million in purchasing power and €2.2 billion in retail sales potential.
Equipment and racquet sports drive show floor expansion
While equipment launches dominated the show floor, racquet sports saw the most dramatic growth—with exhibition space more than doubling from 2025 to accommodate 60-plus brands, two pickleball courts, a padel court and live demonstrations. The expansion mirrors how golf facilities are adding tennis, pickleball and padel to generate year-round revenue beyond traditional green fees and memberships.
New partnerships with FIBO (fitness), IGTM (travel), USTA and PTR (racquet sports) also reflected the show’s expansion into lifestyle and adjacent sectors. Fashion Show attendees voted Rhone best men’s brand, A. Putnam best women’s brand, and Bubble Lifestyle for best dressed looks.
