
In close collaboration with Highsnobiety, Zalando has introduced “Stories” on its platform. Curated editorial content is seamlessly linked to the shopping experience in visual formats, such as short videos, and is intended to serve as a new source of inspiration for customers. Stories on Zalando can be experienced not only in the specially created content hub but can also be found throughout the Zalando website, app and social media.
Last year, Zalando acquired a majority stake in media and culture consultancy Highsnobiety, which helps create inspiring content to appeal to a new generation of customers. Highsnobiety acts as a strategic and creative consultant. Since the beginning of the collaboration, Zalando has published more than 80 curated product showcases, which have been viewed by more than 7 million users.
Stories on Zalando will feature weekly updated content, including the five leading series: Cover Story, Style Bible, Guest Edit, The Perfect X and Unpacked. Zalando and Highsnobiety will carefully curate the content of the series in collaboration with specially invited creative talent.
Stories on Zalando will be available to customers in Austria, Belgium, Denmark, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and the UK. According to Zalando, the service is to be expanded to other markets next year.
