Reebok returns as performance sponsor of French Throwdown – Europe’s largest CrossFit qualifier – clothing every competing athlete and all 350 volunteers, a scope of supply that doubles the brand’s visibility beyond the competition floor itself.
Reebok is the official performance sponsor of French Throwdown, France’s largest CrossFit event and one of Europe’s most prestigious, attracting athletes from around 30 countries. The competition, which is a qualifier for masters and elite events, is taking place on May 15–17, 2026 at Arena Grand Paris in Tremblay-en-France, in the northeastern outer suburbs of Paris. For the third consecutive year, French Throwdown has been selected as the official European stage of the CrossFit Games season.

As part of the agreement, Reebok is equipping all competing athletes as well as the event’s 350 volunteers. Additionally, the brand is activating across key moments throughout the competition. Central to this partnership, Reebok highlights the Nano X5 Edge, its flagship training franchise. The Nano X5 Edge, an evolution of the Nano series, is engineered to support powerful lifts, dynamic movements, short runs, and high-intensity transitions. The Nano X5 Edge uses an upgraded Flexweave upper for durability and breathability, combined with a DUALRESPONSE midsole that cushions the forefoot and stabilizes the heel.
French Throwdown was originally launched in 2012 as the first-ever National Fitness Championship, organized at Paris’ La Vilette with the support of Reebok. The first editions took place from 2013 to 2016 at the National Institute of Sport, Expertise and Performance (INSEP), before moving to other iconic venues like the Charléty Stadium and the National Vélodrome in Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines, which would later host the BMX racing competitions at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. Last year, the event took place at the Sud de France Arena in Montpellier.
A celebration of the CrossFit community, French Throwdown offers two competition floors, CrossFit Games qualifying spots, an exhibition village showcasing CrossFit brands, a food court, weightlifting and gymnastics workshops, and other activities. French Throwdown has been a charitable event since 2022, with all profits donated to the Aladin association.
