Due to tariffs, Nike clothing and equipment will cost between $2 and $10 more.
Nike is to raise retail prices by up to $10 from 1 June amid looming US tariffs, the BBC has reported. The prices of Nike shoes retailing for more than $100 (£74.50) will rise by as much as $10 (£7.50).
The prices of clothing and equipment will also be raised by between $2 and $10 (£1.50 and £7.50).
Nike manufactures its products primarily in China, Vietnam, Indonesia and Thailand, which have all been hit by the Trump administration’s tariff hike, although the business did not cite the increased duties as a reason for the price rises.
A spokesperson told the BBC: “We regularly evaluate our business and make pricing adjustments as part of our seasonal planning.”
