For the second year in a row, Asics Corp. has been awarded a high position on the Supplier Engagement Leaderboard by the Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP) for its relations with suppliers on climate change. CDP is a not-for-profit environmental charity that runs the global disclosure system adopted for the management of environmental impacts for investors, companies, cities, states and regions. Asics has been recognized for its strategies and actions to reduce emissions and manage climate risks in its supply chain in the past reporting year. CDP assessed and gave a Supplier Engagement Rating to more than 7,000 companies. The evaluation was based on answers to a questionnaire about governance, targets, scope 3 emissions, and value chain engagement. Asics was among the top 7 percent of the organizations assessed by CDP.
