Mathieu Sidokpohou has taken over from Guillaume de Monplanet as the new managing director of Adidas France, the French subsidiary of the sporting goods giant. De Monplanet, who joined the Adidas group in 2005 as commercial director for Reebok, has left the company. He became country manager in 2018. Sidokpohou’s appointment was reported by SportBusiness.Club, and Adidas has confirmed the executive change, which became effective as of June 15. Sidokpohou brings more than 20 years of experience in marketing and general management in two important areas of the supply chain. Most recently, Sidokpohou served as global vice-president for dairy and plant-based products at Danone. He was previously general manager of Sephora in Singapore, in charge of the retailer’s operations in Southeast Asia and India. Prior to that, he spent 16 years with Procter & Gamble in a variety of roles in Asia and Europe.
