Puma has appointed Ryokusai Inoue as the new General Manager of Puma Japan with immediate effect. He will report directly to Germany-based Puma CEO Arne Freundt.
Inoue joined the company in 2015 as Director of Retail. In this position, he shaped the success of the Japanese operations by building a solid commercial foundation across the company’s own and proprietary channels. He also built the strong retail teams that have been the foundation for Puma’s solid growth in the country.
Inoue returns to the sporting goods company after serving as Country Manager of Tesla Japan for one year and replaces Kohei Hagio, who has been responsible for Puma Japan since 2021.
