Zalando has appointed Morten Grubak as new Vice President of Creative Direction as of Oct. 1. Grubak will be responsible for the creative direction of the Zalando brand in the newly created role.

Grubak, who joins from the Vice Media Group where he led the group’s Global Innovation Lab (part of the creative agency Virtue), will develop uniform and consistent creative solutions along the entire customer journey and will report to Anne Pascual, Senior Vice President Product Design at Zalando.
Whilst at Vice, Grubak’s work included the Coca Cola Creations and the Backup Ukraine initiative, which won a Grand Prix at Cannes Lions 2022 and was created in partnership with UNESCO. Grubak also co-authored The Screenwear Paper, the first global report on customer perception of virtual goods.
Says Pascual: “The creation of the new role of Vice President of Creative Direction is part of our ambition to make Zalando a brand that is driven by emotions and stories, and a place where our customers are inspired.”
