On its 90th anniversary, French fashion firm Lacoste will step into the virtual world after agreeing on a partnership with The Sandbox, a gaming virtual world and subsidiary of Chinese game software company Animoca Brands. The Sandbox team has collaborated with Lacoste to create the Lacoste World Tour, a multiplayer Web3 experience featuring prizes in $SAND, the token used in the Sandbox gaming ecosystem.

The Lacoste World Tour features multiple themed locations, including Tokyo, São Paulo, Paris, and Golf Island. This immersive experience, which will span two weeks, is meant to celebrate Lacoste’s heritage in the digital world.
