Green Silence Ghost 15

With the introduction of the Green Silence Ghost 15, Brooks takes another (running) step toward its net-zero emissions goal in 2040.

39.4 percent of the shoe is made from recycled materials, including 80 percent of the upper. Both represent the highest percentage of recycled materials of any Brooks shoe to date. 10 percent recycled content can be found in the midsole, and 25 percent in the tongue and collar foam. The Green Silence Ghost 15 also contains spun-dyed textiles, a process that incorporates colored granules into yarn.

“Starting in spring 2024, we plan to add a new outsole made from 20 percent recycled silica to our key cushioned models,” said David Kemp, Corporate Responsibility Director at Brooks Running. “The use of 10 percent recycled materials in the Green Silence Ghost 15 shows our development teams how more recycled components can be used in the midsole in future shoe models.”

According to Brooks, the Green Silence Ghost 15 continues to offer the same proven performance features as the Ghost 15. The shoe is available online at www.brooksrunning.com for €150.
