The kit deal between S.S.C. Napoli, a football team that competes in Italy’s Serie A, and Kappa might be terminated ahead of time, and Legea is reportedly in pole position to take over as the club’s new technical sponsor. The contract between Napoli and Kappa is set to run until the end of the 2021/22 season, but according to Areanapoli.it, Legea has proposed a €3.8 million deal, plus royalties on sales, that would beat the €2.5 million from the current sponsor, starting from this coming season. The new agreement with Legea would run for three years. Legea, based in Pompei, previously partnered with Napoli during the 2003/4 season, when the club competed in Serie B. Napoli is performing much better now: The club won the 2019/20 Coppa Italia and currently sits 5th in the Serie A ranking.
