With the start of the Spring/Summer 2023 season, Sport 2000’s new Witeblaze brand – announced last summer – was delivered to retail partners for the first time. It combines several product ranges under one roof and has thus replaced all previous exclusive brands of the affiliated group. According to Sport 2000, the Witeblaze concept is designed to impress with a highly attractive, durable, versatile range of products, as well as maximum order efficiency for Sport 2000 partners. Witeblaze was developed under the leadership of Sport 2000 International and is available to all Sport 2000 retailers in associated countries. 

“We are very pleased that Witeblaze is now visible and available in our partners’ stores. The response to the first collection from retailers has been extremely positive. Now it’s time to convince their customers at the point of sale of the quality of our new brand as well,” says Margit Gosau, managing director of Sport 2000.

Multifunctionality for multiple sports

The Witeblaze collection is made up of textiles, footwear and equipment. In the equipment and footwear area, the range is supplemented by selected, sport-specific competence articles. In line with the motto “buy less, buy better,” Witeblaze is primarily geared towards multifunctionality and can be used across all segments, says Sport 2000. Accordingly, the label covers a wide range of sports and appeals equally to different active athletes.

Sustainability as part of the brand core

The easily combinable and durable multi-use products are designed to enable sports enthusiasts to consume in a more sustainable yet performance-oriented way. “We also strive for long-term partnerships with family-run farms and regional service providers, most of which are BSCI-certified and conscious about travel, sampling and production,” explains Verena Isabel Schledorn, senior category manager for outdoor & winter sports/textiles at Sport 2000 International. “When it comes to raw materials, we put a big focus on responsible resources, PFC-free materials and eco-friendly packaging. Whenever possible, we produce in Europe.”

Sport 2000 is drawing attention to the launch of the new brand with numerous measures. A large-scale social media campaign via Instagram and Facebook will introduce the brand to consumers and showcase the collection highlights. The new brand will also be massively promoted in all other marketing channels and on-site. For the optimal build-up of the Witeblaze brand on the floor, retailers will receive a comprehensive concept with POS solutions as well as presentation options for the shop windows and deco points.
