Puma has signed a two-season deal to become the technical supplier for Dux Gaming, according to Esports Insider and Tradesport. Dux operates in both sports and e-sports, in the latter case competing in FIFA (EA Sports FC), NBA 2K and Formula One. In addition to such e-sports teams, Puma will outfit the women’s football club of Dux Logroño, which competes in Spain’s second division.

Last year, Dux raised €3 million in funding to expedite its expansion into Latin America. Among its investors are footballers Thibaut Courtois and Borja Iglesias and NBA player Marc Gasol.

Puma has undertaken a number of other e-sports partnerships with, for instance, Cloud9, Gen.G, Natus Vincere, PSV Eindhoven and Manchester City.
