Craft Sportswear, in collaboration with Swedish brewery Billdale, has crafted a post-run beer, catering to dedicated runners who enjoy a well-deserved beverage after a challenging session.
The beer, named Craft Beer, is packed with extra nutrients, minerals, and vitamins essential for recovery. Launched during UTMB, the world’s largest trail race, and designed with input from Forsman & Bodenfors, it aims to enhance the post-run experience. Niklas Moberg, head of brand at Craft Sportswear, emphasizes their commitment to supporting runners in various ways, from providing gear to post-run enjoyment.
Mimmi Kotka, an ultrarunner with expertise in nutrition, highlights the potential benefits of post-run beer, citing its social and caloric aspects. Craft Beer contains essential vitamins and minerals, including B6, niacin, folic acid, potassium, magnesium, fiber, and antioxidants like flavonoids and polyphenols.
The design of the beer bottle draws inspiration from Craft’s Pure Trail collection, reflecting the colors and motifs of the trail running landscape.
