The deal deepens an existing commercial relationship and introduces a direct revenue-sharing mechanic: $10 from every pair of R.A.D shoes sold through roguefitness.com will be added to the event’s athlete prize fund.

R.A.D, the Portland-based training footwear brand, has been named official footwear partner of the Rogue Invitational for 2026 and 2027, the companies announced on April 14. The deal makes R.A.D a headline sponsor of the three-day CrossFit and strongman competition, which takes place Oct. 23-25 in Aberdeen, Scotland.

The arrangement includes a built-in contribution to the athlete prize fund: $10 from every pair of R.A.D shoes sold on roguefitness.com will be added to the event’s prize purse. The two brands will also release a co-branded shoe to coincide with this year’s competition.

The Rogue Invitational, established in 2019 by Rogue Fitness, is regarded as one of the premier events in the strength sports calendar, combining CrossFit and strongman competition formats. The event is known for its heavy strength bias and custom-built implements, and typically features an invited CrossFit individual field alongside elite strongman and strongwoman divisions, plus additional showcases such as record-breaking attempts and a legends segment.

The partnership extends a commercial relationship that began with the launch of a limited-edition co-branded version of R.A.D’s One V2 training shoe at the end of 2025, as well as a community competition held under the R.A.D x Rogue banner.

For R.A.D, founded in 2019 with roots in the CrossFit space before expanding into broader training and, more recently, running, the Rogue partnership marks a continued push into headline-level event sponsorship. Rogue Fitness, founded in 2006 and the official equipment supplier of the CrossFit Games, USA Weightlifting and the World’s Strongest Man competition, offers distribution and visibility that extend well beyond a single event, including a dedicated European operation (Rogue Europe) with regional logistics and distribution.

Rogue Fitness is exhibiting at FIBO 2026, the world’s leading international trade show for fitness, wellness, and health, which starts today in Cologne, Germany. See also our guide to the event for sporting goods professionals.
