With strength training generating 500 million uploads in 2025 on a platform of 195 million users, Strava is overhauling the experience with muscle maps, a workout log, and 14 partner integrations — testing how much of the dedicated training app stack a social fitness platform can absorb.
Strava has announced a full overhaul of its strength activity experience that includes an expanded partner ecosystem, new workout log, muscle maps and new shareables. The update will roll out globally over the coming weeks.
Strava is introducing 14 partner integrations across the strength and fitness ecosystem and updating its developer tools, so that athletes can bring comprehensive data from the apps and devices they already use directly into Strava. The initial launch partners are: Amazfit, Caliber, COROS, Fitbod, Garmin, Hevy, iFIT Personal Trainer, Jefit, Liftoff, Motra,Remaker, Runna, and Whoop, with 24 Hour Fitness scheduled to follow this summer.
The updated experience includes auto-populated muscle maps. Every logged workout will now produce a visual muscle map, automatically showing the trained muscle groups based on the exercises performed.
A purpose-built workout log will allow athletes to record sets, reps, and weight. This feature tracks strength exercises over time to simplify reviewing and repeating workouts.
In addition, Strava is rolling out five new strength-specific shareables, designed to give athletes more ways to celebrate their progress with friends, clubs, and the broader Strava community.

Strava currently boasts over 195 million users in more than 185 countries. Strength training is one of the fastest–growing sport types on the platform, with more than 500 million uploads in 2025 alone, according to Strava.
