Adidas makes a statement with the launch of one of its most expansive multi-sport footwear collections to date. Catering to a diverse range of disciplines from running and tennis to the latest inclusion of breakdancing, the footwear lineup comprises 49 distinct models, equipping athletes across 41 different sports – more than 20 of which will be showcased by competitors this summer.

Ben Herath, Vice President of Design for Specialist Sports at Adidas, remarked on the collection: “For over 96 years, Adidas has […] consistently been providing athletes with the tools they need to leave their mark on history. But at the heart of every triumph lies an unwavering passion that propels athletes towards greatness. Through this collection, we’ve encapsulated that intrinsic drive and commitment to excellence in a design that embodies their passion – a flame that burns brightly within each athlete.”

The flame motif adorns each shoe, whether emblazoned on the upper or etched onto the sole. Against a backdrop of black and white, the three stripes accentuate the design, minimizing distractions during competition. Each footwear model is tailored to its respective sport, incorporating performance technologies to deliver optimal performance. Among the highlights is the Adizero Prime SP 3 Strung, specifically engineered for 100 meter sprints with enhanced energy return and stiffness. Featuring a Strung upper crafted with precision coding, this shoe offers a seamless fit that envelops the foot, providing runners with comfort and support.
