Decathlon Germany has announced a partnership with Two Stripes United, a team led by Felix Kroos and Robert Andrich in the indoor football competition Icon League. The agreement marks the start of a broader teamsport strategy for the German subsidiary, which aims to expand its presence in football and among young urban communities.

The Icon League, co-founded by Toni Kroos and Elias Nerlich, begins at the end of September its third season with matches played in a 5-a-side, fast-paced format. Two Stripes United will be outfitted with Kipsta jerseys and footwear, with a dedicated replica kit available online and in select Decathlon stores. The Two Stripes United team captains are Toni Kroos’ brother Felix and German National Player Robert Andrich.
Decathlon wants to strengthen team sport

According to Zoltan Sebescen, commercial director teamsport at Decathlon Germany, the partnership is the “perfect start” to the company’s new approach, which goes beyond sponsorship to actively shape football culture.
The initiative is part of an international long-term strategy that includes the Decathlon Club program, already supporting around 50 amateur clubs, a partnership with French football World Champion Antoine Griezmann, the rollout of football-focused pro-shops in Germany, and plans for further international sponsorships for clubs and pro athletes from 2026 onward.
