Whoop’s entry into professional padel adds to a run of sports property deals for the brand, including Ferrari and the PGA Tour, as wearable companies widen their reach beyond traditional major-league circuits.

The professional padel tour Premier Padel has signed a three-year partnership with US wearable company Whoop, naming it the tour’s official health and performance wearable partner.

Whoop said it will provide devices and platform memberships to players on the circuit, giving athletes access to sleep, strain and recovery data throughout the season. A group of elite players will also receive individual sponsorships, to be announced later, and event activations are planned at selected tournaments on the Qatar Airways Premier Padel Tour.

Data tools to reach coaches through FIP Academy

The agreement also covers FIP Academy, the International Padel Federation’s coaching and education platform. Whoop said it will work with the federation to develop training-load and recovery-monitoring content aimed at embedding physiological data into coaching practice.

2026 tour calendar and sponsor roster

Premier Padel’s 2026 calendar includes 26 tournaments across 18 countries, with new events in the UK and South Africa. The season began in Riyadh in February and is set to conclude with the Premier Padel Finals in Barcelona on Dec. 7–13. The tour’s commercial partners include title sponsor Qatar Airways, as well as Wilson, Heineken, Playtomic and Bullpadel.

Whoop expands sports partnerships

The deal adds to Whoop’s recent slate of sports-property agreements, including a partnership with Formula 1 team Ferrari and a renewal with golf’s PGA Tour. In cycling, Whoop has served as title sponsor of the UCI Mountain Bike World Series since an agreement announced in February 2024.
