Under Armour has announced that Wes Moore, the chief executive of the Robin Hood Foundation, has joined its board of directors. The foundation has distributed more than $3 billion to organizations that address disparities in education, housing, food insecurity and workforce development. Moore, 41, has worked in investment banking and written some best-selling books.

His nomination comes after yet another attack from shareholders against Under Armour’s board and key executives for allegedly misleading information regarding its accounts for 2016, 2017 and 2018. It also charges that the board engaged in a conspiracy not to disclose the existence of an investigation by the U.S. Securities & Exchange Commission into its accounting practices for more than two years.
