Fanatics, a global digital sports platform and leading provider of licensed sports merchandise, has completed the acquisition of Fexpro, a Panama-based leading wholesaler of licensed sports merchandise and branded apparel in Latin America, on undisclosed terms. Fexpro is the Latin American NFL, NBA and MLB licensee and also the licensee in the region for Paris Saint-Germain, Real Madrid and FC Barcelona, as well as the Umbro sportswear brand.
Fexpro’s entire distribution organization will continue to be led by CEO Alberto Bassan, who will now report to Joe Monahan, Global President of Fanatics Brands Division of Fanatics Commerce. The acquisition gives Fanatics immediate access to more than 2,400 retail stores served by Fexpro and a solid framework for additional wholesale growth through operations in Panama, Mexico, El Salvador, Chile and China.
