Utility Bidder has unveiled its own study revealing which fashion brands are making the most significant efforts to minimize their environmental impact. According to their report, the fashion industry was responsible for 10 percent of the world’s carbon dioxide emissions in 2022, surpassing both the aviation and freight industries.

Topping the list of companies making strides to reduce their global impact is Puma. Other notable brands from the sporting goods industry in the top 10 include The North Face (2) and Patagonia (10).

German-based Puma earns the top spot for several reasons, including its high level of transparency and a minimal carbon footprint associated with visits to their website.

However, Utility Bidder also highlights brands that have room for improvement. Among the brands with the lowest sustainability ratings are both Skechers and Reebok, indicating areas where these companies can enhance their environmental efforts.
