Intersport has continued to connect with a new audience of athletes with the company’s Footlab event. The latest event was held in collaboration with AC Milan and Puma

Held at the Puma House of Football – home of the AC Milan Women’s First Team, AC Milan U19 and the entire youth sector – the free event enabled local youngsters to feel like a part of one of the world’s most famous football clubs. This was achieved through various football workshops and challenges and a meet-and-greet with members of the AC Milan U19 Team.

The Footlab experience also allowed guests to test Puma’s new Ultra football boots, with various activities designed to test the boot.

The event, which welcomed over 100 participants between the ages of 14 to 19, involved seven different activities. These ranged from a tournament to precision dribbling and shooting, a product lab to immerse themselves with the Puma boots and challenges for touch and speed. For example, the latter activity challenged participants to match the 30-meter speed of Theo Hernandez, the AC Milan left-back.

An Established Community Experience

Footlab by Intersport is a pop-up event designed to give grassroots players an experience and an opportunity to try out new products while engaging with their passion for football. Founded in 2020, Intersport has now run 121 individual Footlab events in 14 countries. These have been held with many different clubs, partnering specifically with Puma for events with Marseille and PSV Eindhoven.
